In RA i was on a team with a monk, an ele, and 2 warriors one of them being me. The other team consisted of 2 monks and a couple other people. Our team wasted the non-monks, and one of their monks. Somehow it ended up being our team and the two opposing monks cause all they had were rez sigs and they had used them..

Lets just say i quit after 40 mins of fighting and getting absolutely no where. Longest battle of my life... and so boring, but it was funny too.

MF in GvG.

We capped the flag stand, and there was no sign of the enemy. We're thinking "lol, nubs, we have 10 morale now!". The leader made a bad move in not going in right away. When the other team decides to move out, there was a flurry of curses and "OMG"s on Teamspeak. The other team used...quite a bit of time to make minions, and I must say, I've never seen so many minions in my life. We fought them, and did pretty decent, but they kept killing EoE, and once our bonder fell, the rest of the team died pretty quickly.
As soon as we rezed, we went in to gank their guild lord. For some reason, the other team never came over to kill us, they would've pwnt us, our bonds never got back up. However, they instead stood at the flagstand and made more minions. By the time they attacked our base, we had finished off their guild lord. They could've won easily had they stopped our gank, and with all the minions, a lot of them were dying from too much degen. Prety much a noobish MF.

Walk into GvG with an axe and axe skills while specced entirely in sword against TeVL.

I shouldn't complain much though. Vindexus does that type of thing all the time.

Mine was this guys who kept running away. Natuarally the other warriors on my team were cursing at him. Then he resed the last guy on the other team that was left and they BOTH started running.

Annoying and weird.

We had 2 monks in our team in CA. One monk had to leave at the end, and at the next match, another monk joined our team...what are the odds?

Another time in CA, after the opposing team lost to us, and one of their W/Mos kept cursing at us. The next match, he replaced the ranger in our team who had to leave...

Late July '05, my first time playing guild wars, my friend was in shiverpeak arena with his E/N, and i was watching him and his team on their 3rd consecutive win. He got a phone call, so he told me to take over.....i just spammed life siphon, gaze and flare, and the occasional AoR......and somehow we won 2 more matches before everyone had to go. good times :P

The only thing that comes to mind was the time in RA that I got teamed with a monk... and all that monk did was to cast mending on everyone and do squat.

I can't tell if it was a bot or a w/mo trying a new build.

We were fighting some guild in the fire map. We were playing pretty bad so we started losing, and had to fall back near the GL to wait for res. We regrouped and were ready to go back to fight, when suddenly one of our members starts to give weird orders like to drop the flag when no one is holding it, and after listening for maybe 30 seconds or so, we realise that his Vent is lagging so much that the speech is coming 10 minutes late. After 2 minutes it starts to get too funny and we all just start laughing. After 2 more minutes of laughing we go back in to fight(the enemy was just waiting for morale boosts) and actually win ^^. It was pretty crazy.

The funniest matches we've played are probably the ones in the fire map with us trying to split. When our assault team dies to the sentinels and we still manage to win, it gets funny.

Been a while since this happened but this is the story:

I was testing out a new monk build in RA, i ended up on a team with 1 ele 1 warrior and a ranger.
The team didn't have a lot of damage output but we managed 2 wins. The next game we come up vs 2 necro and 2 ranger, my team wasn't able to kill anyone, but so was the other team.
Then suddenly one of the necro start blaming me for the fact they can't win (in wich he was right) but after he got killed he keeps PMíng me with 'how stupid it is to play a monk' and 'your a gaylord healer' (isn't that the point in being a monk?

), anyways he kept Whispering me for 2 more days with these insults, not spamming, just whispering once in a while.

Was late at night and everyone decides to GvG for fun. I set myself up as a boon prot monk and without realizing until the battle had started that I forgot..you guessed it

We were left with an Ele and something, they had a Mesmer and a Boon Prot. Guess who won.

running edge bomb, we killed a team with it, lost to the next team, then rematched them when they knew we were egde bomb(map with plenty of open space for spreading out) and beat them again

LOL, I had a gvg experience sort of like that. Both teams took 2 minutes to load. We lost 2 players on the load (error7) and both teams did the rubber band lag for 10 minutes.

And, naturally, Mantra of Resolve on resolve trappers and Gale on gale warriors, now shock on shock warriors. These things are just too obvious to remember

FPe weekend, my ranger in the 12 vs 12. Got the feel for the timing of an opposing ranger. How good? I disrupted his disrupting shot with my disrupting shot.

We both got a laugh at that while the battle raged around us...

The wierdest Pvp Battle ive ever had was in the Yaks Bend Arena.
The team consited of; Level 15 Monk (me), a Level 13 Mesmer, and Level 11 Monk and a Level 9 Messmer. We won 4 Games in a Row!

My perfect plan for GvG:

Step 1. Take off all clothes.
Step 2. /dance and /taunt while standing in lava.
Step 3. When rezzed, REPEAT!
Step 4. PM someone after you lose and tell them to have fun and enjoy the faction they just got.
